In the Ghanaian language Ga, the word MALA means: “I will Sing!”
BonNoir Trio draw inspiration from traditional music of West Africa, Blues and Jazz. Their music is open, groovy and lyrical, with lots of space for improvisation and the magic of the moment.

The album features original compositions by Katrine Suwalski, a suite in three movements by Benita Haastrup and a medley of kpanlogo songs sung by Ayi Solomon and Okyerema Pra.
The band Another World was called Ghanaian Inspiration during the first couple of years.
The album is named after the special guest: Ghanaian masterdrummer Odomankoma Kyerema Kwamena Pra, who again is named after a local river.
